Founder, Clio Davies

Clio is an accredited IP Advisor and has been working in the field of Intellectual Property for almost 15 years. She started her career as a patent searcher before going on to provide IP advice to startups and SMEs. As a result, she spent many years as an end user of IP software.

Prior to founding Sparks IP, Clio spent 7 years in a senior consulting position at one of the leading IP Management Software providers working with international corporations and Law Firms across Europe, Asia and North America on their IP process management, technology selection and optimisation, with a specialist focus on IP Strategy, Portfolio Management and patent analytics.

Clio has since dedicated herself to being a leading subject matter expert in the IP Technology sector with unparalleled insights into the IP technology landscape and beyond.

During her career, Clio has also worked with one of the leading IP Strategy consultancies as well as qualifying as a CIPA patent administrator - experience she levies when advising on process and change management around technology adoption and consolidation.
